Rosy Gin-Kombucha Cocktail

New to kombucha? This cocktail is perfect for a test drive because you’ll get a taste of “original” (unflavored) kombucha. Try Health-Ade or GT’s, which you can find at most supermarkets.

Ingredients

Makes 1

ounces gin

1

ounce Campari

½

ounce fresh lemon juice

½

teaspoon finely grated fresh ginger

5

ounces original kombucha, chilled

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Preparation

  1. Stir gin, Campari, lemon juice, and ginger in a pint glass or measuring cup. Stir in kombucha. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into an ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with lemon wedges.

  • Listen, I really want to like kombucha for it's health benefits but I detest the vinegary scent. Mixing it into a cocktail, this one specifically, is perfect! I get to have a nice cocktail & also feel like I am doing good by my gut. I use a pomegranate flavored 'buch for this & it's the perfect refreshing summer evening beverage.

  • made this last night as an evening cocktail. Used a lemon ginger kombucha since that was what I had in the fridge. I liked this a lot and it was easy to make. Definitely goes on my list of go-to gin and Campari mixed drinks.

  • Original kombucha (made with kombu) isn’t avail In NA. You’re talking the “new” style. Understand why “brand placement“ is necessary but would be nice to have it explicit. Cheers 🥂
